Rubus design vase from the Finnish Art Glass studio Iittala.
Designed by Timo Sarpaneva in 1968, as usual Sarpaneva took inspiration from his surroundings with the textured ice/bark design with a nobly textured exterior.
The vase is signed: TS (Timo Sarpaneva) etched into the bottom (see picture). The vase is in excellent condition. Sarpaneva is one of the great 20th century designers, winner of the "Grand Prix" for his Orkidea vase at the 1954 Milan Triennale and the Lunning Prize, (the Nobel Prize of Scandinavian design), in 1956.

Conçu par Timo Sarpaneva en 1968, Sarpaneva s’inspire, comme d’habitude, de son environnement avec son motif texturé en glace / écorce et son extérieur texturé.
Le vase est signé: TS (Timo Sarpaneva) gravé dans le fond (voir photo). Le vase est en excellent état. Sarpaneva est l’un des grands designers du XXe siècle, lauréat du "Grand Prix" pour son vase Orkidea à la Triennale de Milan de 1954 et au prix Lunning (Prix Nobel du design scandinave), en 1956.
