Here we have a Westraven chanoir candle holder, which was designed by Leendert Blok in the 1950s. Leendert Blok was the forerunner of the new modern direction that the Westraven pottery factory took after the 2nd World War: the result the characteristic chanoir pottery range. The candle holder is dark grey with accentuated white striped glaze design and white glazed mouth. This is a very elegant candle holder. The candle holder is in very good vintage condition and is marked to the base with the factory's name.
