A striking candelabra from the early cast-iron series from Jens Quistgaard for Dansk design. This design with a brass fittings handle at the top, holds seven Individual candle-holders separated by brass coloured washers that pivot around a central axis. The handle is the adjuster, by loosening the handle you can adjust where the candle holder is at a particular level. A well thought out design feature is the drip well bases and lopped finials. The candle holder is stamped to the base J.H.Q. Denmark. The candlestick is an excellent example of Mid century modern Scandinavian design.

Jens H. Quistgaard designed Dansk's very first products in 1954, his designs made Dansk famous for what it is today (quality and good design).
